NBA Rumors: Larry Hughes Set to be Dealt From Cleveland

According to several sources close to the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers, oft injured guard Larry Hughes is on his way out of Cleveland and quite possibly headed back to the Washington Wizards. 

Hughes spent three years with the Wizards before signing a free-agent deal with the Cavs in 2005 worth more than $65 million.

The NBA trade deadline is Feb. 21 but rumors persist that the 28-year-old Hughes will be gone much sooner than that.  

Hughes is currently shooting just .327 from the field and averaging 9.8 points and 2.1 assists per game. He’s played in only half of Cleveland’s games this season.  

The Cavaliers are set to take the stage Christmas Day against the Miami Heat.
