NBA Trade Rumors: Mike Bibby to the New York Knicks

Mike Bibby—easily the worst interview in professional sports and one of the most miserable people we’ve ever had the misfortune to meet—is rumored to be headed to the worst team in professional sports, the New York Knicks.

Let’s just say it couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.

The former Vancouver Grizzly is coming off a serious injury to his right thumb and joins teammate Ron Artest in the swirl of trade rumors that surround the Knicks.

According to the Sacramento Bee, the biggest obstacle for any type of trade involving New York and Sacramento is David Lee, a highly coveted third-year forward that the Knicks don’t want to give up. 

Bibby is yet to play in a game this season, while Lee is one of the lone bright spots for the Knicks, averaging 9.5 points and 7.9 rebounds in just 26.6 minutes per night.

Lee makes just $990,600 per season, while Bibby (did we mention he’s a real dick?) makes $13.5 million per season.
