NCAA Basketball Betting: Is ND's Luke Harangody the Big East POY?

In a conference featuring the likes of Roy Hibbert, Dominic James, AJ Price and Donte Green, it's hard to imagine that a little-known sophomore from Notre Dame could be challenging for the Big East Player of the Year award.
But that's exactly what happened this season, as Luke Harangody has made 2007-08 his personal coming out party.
The 6'8 Indiana native is leading the conference in scoring at 20.2 per game and is the second leading rebounder at 10.5. He's a tower of strength down low, making up for a lack of height with incredible upper body strength and competitiveness. He loves the contact too. His big frame has gotten him to the line 168 times this season, and his feathery shooting touch has him converting on 77.4 percent of his charity stripe shots.
Tonight, Harangody leads Notre Dame up against Big East rivals Louisville. The Cards are -7.5 point favorites at home and feature a tough frontcourt assignment for Harangody in bruising forward Juan Palacios.
