NCAA Basketball Preview: No. 4 Washington State at USC

The USC Trojans were supposed to breakout in the 2007-08 NCAA season.
With O.J. Mayo being a highly touted high school star many were hoping for a race to the NCAA tournament like that of Carmelo Anthony and Syracuse.
But 14 games later the Trojans are unranked and are only four games over .500 and they'll have another tough game against the stiffling defense of No. 4 Washington State.
"We need to play our defense every game," Washington State center Aron Baynes said. "If we don't, we can get beaten by every team we play. But if we do, we can beat every team that we play."
Although the Cougars are undefeated on the season (13-0) they are two-point underdogs at USC. Washington State plays USC at 8:00 p.m. ET on FSN.
