The No. 3 Duke Blue Devils stayed perfect in the ACC with a 81-64 victory over the Virginia Tech Hokies, covering the nine-point spread listed in the Bodog Sportsbook.
Forward Kyle Singler scored 16 points, 10 during an 18-9 run to help the Devils close out the physical Hokies.
The Hokies kept it competitive in the first half, getting within four by haltime (42-38). However, the Devils came out firing after halftime, and when on to outscore the Hokies 39-26 in the second half.
No. 22 Xavier 69, No. 18 Dayton 43
Only one Dayton Flyer reached double digits - point guard Marcus Johnson with 12 - as Xavier them blew out 69-43.
Xavier was an 11-point favorite in the contest, however, no one was expecting the 26 drubbing the Musketeers dealt the Flyers.
No. 14 Butler 63, Loyola 50
Matt Howard led Butler with 15 points as the Bulldogs defeated Loyal 63-50.
Loyola was able to cover in this contest despite the loss, they were 18-point underdogs in the contest.
Butler outscored Loyola 37-21 in the second half to close out the Ramblers.
