A terrible night shooting from beyond the arc wasn't going to stop the Duke Blue Devils from moving into a tie atop the ACC.

They just amped up the defense to get it done.

A pair of 15-point performances from Gerald Henderson and DeMarcus Nelson paced Duke to a 71-58 win over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Wednesday night - the 799th career victory for head coach Mike Krzyzewski.

The Blue Devils forced 20 G-Tech turnovers and turned them into 17 points en route to an easy win. Freshman Kyle Singler chipped in with 13 points for Duke, who now share the ACC lead with bitter rivals North Carolina.

It was another forgettable night in a forgettable season for the Yellow Jackets. At 11-15, they have no hope of NCAA tournament qualification. The lone bright spots on the evening were Matt Causey and Gani Lawal, who finished 10 points each. This didn't make up for the fact that the Yellow Jackets lost their fifth straight and haven't won at Cameron since 2004. The Blue Devils have won 10 of the past 11 meetings at home.

Georgia Tech did manage to cover the +15.5 point spread posted by the Bodog Sportsbook prior to the game. The final score was well below the posted total of 164.
