NCAA Football Odds: Michigan State at No. 18 Notre Dame

Both the Michigan State Spartans and Notre Dame Fighting Irish started the season on the fringe of the Top 25 but suffered last-second losses last week to potentially send the season skidding in the wrong direction.

The Spartans beat the Irish 23-7 last season, but the Notre Dame offense has grown up a lot since then and, more importantly, Michigan State no longer has Javon Ringer.

The Spartans have been a nemesis to Notre Dame. Against Michigan State, Notre Dame, more often than not, has been favored in the past 12 meetings, yet is only 3-9 in that span.

If you are placing a football bet on this one, Notre Dame is once again favored, this time by 10 points.

The Spartans must recover from an upset loss to Central Michigan against one of the most potent passing attacks in the nation.

Notre Dame leads the all-time series with a 44-27-1 record.
