New head coach Lane Kiffin and the USC Trojans start the most difficult season in team history when they meet the Hawaii Warriors at 11 p.m. ET.
Despite suffering sanctions that will keep them out of bowl contention, the Trojans still have talent on both sides of the ball. NCAA odds list them as 21-point favorites in the Bodog Sportsbook despite being at Hawaii. The NCAA may have cut down all hopes of competing with the best in college football, but Trojan players know they can prove they're still a PAC-10 power by racking up wins.
"The only way we’re going to be able to express ourselves is to win 13 games," said senior tailback Allen Bradford. "We know it’s going to be difficult this year. We’re playing for a tradition. We’re playing for a school. We’re playing for ourselves."
Odds say they could start their season with a win and cover tonight, the Trojans are 22-7 against the spread in their last 29 out of conference matchups and Hawaii is just 2-5 ATS in their last seven at home.
If you're a diehard Trojan show the haters you're still an elite NCAA program. Take the NCAA Odds on USC in the Bodog Sportsbook.
