NCAA Tournament Bracket Betting Tip #3: Top Seeds

It seems so simple to just pick all top seeds when filling out your brackets. Everyone wants to be the one to pick a big upset and find the Cinderella in the field. Considering how rare it is for all four top seeds to make the Final Four, it makes sense to try and choose at least one to falter.

The Big East has three No. 1 seeds in the NCAA Tournament, making many wonder if all three can actually make the Final Four. Three teams from the same conference seems like a real longshot.

Of the four top seeds, coach Rick Pitino’s Louisville Cardinals were the only team to win their conference tournament. Louisville entered the Big East conference tournament as the top seed, though the Pitt Panthers and UConn Huskies were more highly regarded throughout the regular season.

The top four seeds in each region have gone 30-2 straight up and 22-9-1 against-the-spread in their opening-round game.
