The NCAA Tournament is a sprint to the finish after a grueling season and conference tourneys. Injuries and endurance can decide who wins and who goes home.

Having depth can help overcome a star player getting hurt or a key player fouling out late. There have not been too many examples of teams without much depth making it to the final and winning it all. Just take a look at the top teams. North Carolina (+400) has so many weapons it seems like they can just keep bringing in fresh players. That is very hard to deal with, especially as the tournament moves on.

Sticking with teams that have deep benches can be the difference between a profitable ride through March Madness or pitching your NCAA brackets in the garbage before the third round of games.
