NCCA Tournament Bracket: No. 6 UCLA vs. No. 11 VCU

It was learned yesterday that even President Obama picked the Virginia Commonwealth Rams to beat the Bruins in his bracket. Now that is something to take a little personal.
When sixth-seeded UCLA meets 11th-seeded VCU in the opening round of the East Regional today, all those titles and rich history won’t matter much. Perhaps that’s why so many people think the 7-point underdog Rams will pull off an early upset in the NCAA tournament.
There doesn’t figure to be too many people in the stands wearing blue and gold and rooting for UCLA at the Wachovia Center but a 10 p.m. EDT start should give the Bruins an advantage. That means players won’t have to adjust their body clocks.
