New York Jets Break Record, Demolish Rams 47-3

The New York Jets set a franchise record for point differential in an impressive 47-3 routing of the hapless St. Lous Rams on Sunday, advancing to 6-3 in the process.

Despite the onslaught, quarterback Brett Favre threw for just 167 yards and one touchdown while Thomas Jones ran in three rushing touchdowns of his own.

Quarterbacking the Rams on the afternoon was an ineffective Trent Green, Marc Bulger duo as each threw an interception and zero touchdowns.

In the AFC East race, the New England Patriots snuck by Trent Edwards and the Buffalo Bills, advancing to 6-3 and a tie for the division lead with the Jets.

The Tennessee Titans advanced to 9-0 with a victory over the Rex Grossman and the Chicago Bears.
