The Colorado Rockies are supposed to be the Denver-based team that hits home runs. But the Denver Broncos emulated the National League champions with four big plays during Monday night’s 34-20 victory over the Tennessee Titans at Invesco Field in Mile High.

The Broncos opened up a 14-0 lead on a 48-yard touchdown catch by Brandon Stokley and an 80-yard punt return by Glenn Martinez. In the second half, Brandon Marshall caught a 41-yard pass from Jay Cutler and little-used running back Andre Hall dashed 62 yards for his first career score.

The Broncos (5-5 overall and against the point spread) moved into a tie in the AFC West with the San Diego Chargers.

Late money went on the Titans, making the game a pick against the point spread. The betting total was way over 38.5 points.

Vince Young threw for 305 yards for the Titans, but also had two interceptions. Young, who had a TD pass and run, was victimized by his receivers. The Titans dropped several balls in the cold air in Denver.

Tennessee fell to 6-4 overall (7-3 ATS).
