NFL Betting Preview: Steelers, Ravens Duel on Monday Night

The Steelers are primed for this game, and not only because they can seize control of the AFC North with a victory. Last year, the Ravens humiliated Pittsburgh in both division games, winning 27-0 and 31-7. Ben Roethlisberger was picked off four times and Baltimore recorded 14 sacks in the two games.

"They roughed us up a lot," Roethlisberger told reporters this week after the Steelers dominated the Bengals, 24-13. "We need another all-around performance like we had , in all phases of the game."

The Steelers (5-2) hold a one-game lead over the Ravens (4-3) in the North and can solidify their hold on the division at Heinz Field on Monday night. They’re 2-0 against division foes and 3-0 at home. A win by Baltimore will force a tie in the North, as well as damage Pittsburgh’s confidence. The Ravens lost on Monday night earlier this year in a freakish game against the Bengals and will seek to atone for that primetime letdown.

For a contest between two foes so close in the standings, Pittsburgh is a surprisingly heavy favorite. The Steelers are favored by 10 against the point spread. Get NFL odds for all Week 9 games with the Bodog Sportsbook.
