NFL Betting: Ricky Can't Light Up on Muddy Field and Steelers Beat Dolphins, 3-0

The field in Pittsburgh was so wet Ricky Williams had no chance of finding dry grass or rolling a sweet joint, so he decided to play instead. That didn’t even work out.
In his first game in the NFL in two years, the Miami Dolphins’ running back carried six times for 15 yards on the mud-ravaged turf at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh before leaving because of a shoulder injury. Williams, who has faced multiple suspensions from the NFL because of marijuana use, left the game late in the second quarter and didn’t return.
Meanwhile, those who took the Dolphins and the under had to be happy as soon as they got a glimpse of the field. Both offenses struggled mightily in miserable conditions, going scoreless until the final minute.
Jeff Reed kicked a 24-yard field goal with 17 seconds to play as the Steelers escaped with a 3-0 victory that kept them alone in first place in the AFC North.
Miami is winless at 0-11, although they did beat the point spread. The Steelers (8-3) were favored by 15.5 while the betting total was nowhere near 38 points.
The field goal by Reed ended any chance of the game becoming the first scoreless NFL contest in 68 years. Ben Roethlisberger was 18-for-21 passing for 165 yards as the Steelers used a conservative approach in the rain.
