Two of the biggest coaching questions in the National Football League have been answered. Yesterday, Tony Dungy returned to the Indianapolis Colts. Today, Mike Holmgren announced he'd be doing the same in Seattle.

Holmgren - who has coached the Seahawks since 1999 - informed the team that he'd return to coach the final year of his contract through the 2008 season. With a career record of 170-110 - one win behind recently-retired Joe Gibbs for 10th all time - Holmgren could see his coaching career come to an end after next season, barring a contract extension from Seattle brass. He has not ruled coaching in another city either.

The former Green Bay bench boss has enjoyed great success in the Pacific Northwest. He put the Seahawks in their first-ever Super Bowl two years ago and has won five NFC West division titles during his nine years at the helm. Holmgren is 86-68 during his tenure in Seattle.
