NFL Football Betting: Kansas City Chiefs at Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens start their season at home as they host the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. The Chiefs’ hopes rely on new QB Matt Cassel, while the Ravens should continue their devastating defensive ways.

Baltimore comes into this one listed as heavy 13-point favorites.

The Ravens went 4-0 in the preseason and it’s looking like another great season ahead for them. In 2007, Baltimore finished 5-11 and last year they reversed their record from the previous season, finishing with a mark of 11-5.

The Chiefs finished a dismal 2-14 last season, last in the AFC West. A new year means a new beginning as they can begin to concentrate on the future led by Cassel.

With new GM Scott Pioli and Todd Haley as head coach the Chiefs are in better shape than they ever were. Will it translate into wins this season? If so, it probably won't be on Sunday against the Ravens.
