Philadelphia quarterback Donovan McNabb has had a tough season both personally and professionally because of his coach, Andy Reid. But Reid is standing by his man and says he'll rely on the veteran for the rest of the season. This week, the Eagles (3-5) travel to Washington to take on the Redskins (5-3) in another key NFC East matchup.

McNabb struggled last week in the Eagles' 38-17 loss at home to the Dallas Cowbys, completing 27 of 46 passes for 264 yards, one TD and two interceptions. However, Reid isn't willing to blame the five-time Pro Bowler for everything.

"It's easy to point the finger at one guy," said Reid. "But, I don't think that's where we're at right now. There have been a few drops and there's been some pressure. There have been some other things involved there, too. I'm not saying that there aren't plays Donovan wouldn't like to have back. I'm not saying that. I think everybody's had a little piece of that pie."

McNabb is just as disappointed with the team's inconsistency.

"It's frustrating," he said. "It's not like we're playing bad, we're just not capitalizing on those opportunities we're given, whether it was in the red zone or eliminating mistakes. It's just not coming together the way we want it to. You can't go out and play well one week and then the next week you find yourself on the short end of it. We need to get a winning streak going and it has to happen now."

Last week, the Redskins came back from 17-3 down to defeat the New York 23-20 in overtime. Clinton Portis rushed for 196 yards in the game.

Oddsmakers currently have the Redskins listed as 3-point favorites versus the Eagles, while the game's total is sitting at 38.
