NFL Football Odds: Oakland Raiders at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-6 SU, 8-7 ATS) are a very good football team. But two things need to happen for them to get into the playoffs this year.

First, the Bucs have to beat the Oakland Raiders (4-11 SU, 6-9 ATS) on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium. Then they’ll gather ”˜round the TV set and see if the Eagles can beat the Cowboys in Philly. The first part’s relatively easy. Oakland is a 13-point underdog; however, the Raiders did win their home finale last week against Houston as 7-point puppies.

Oakland may or may not bring a spoiler’s mentality, but Tampa Bay’s motivation to make the playoffs is self-evident. The Bucs are No. 10 in the NFL at 5.1 yards allowed per play, while the Raiders are No. 27 in offense at 4.7 yards gained. The under is 9-5-1 for Oakland this year; Sunday’s total is 39 points.
