After enjoying a bye week, the Kansas City Chiefs resume their schedule with their first trip to Jacksonville since 2004 to play the Jaguars.

NFL betting lines have the Jags listed as 7-point home favorites.

After a 14-6 triumph at Washington, the Chiefs are seeking victories in consecutive road contests for the first time since 2007.

In seven games, the Chiefs’ offense has had 92 negative plays. Those are running and passing plays for minus yards, sacks, interceptions, fumbles lost, and offensive penalties. When it comes to negatives on offense, the Chiefs lead the league.

To say Kansas City has been banged up is an understatement. The Chiefs have had 35 different players start at least one game for the club in 2009. In fact, Kansas City hasn’t boasted the same 22 starters in back-to-back weeks all season.

The Chiefs are 2-5 ATS in their last seven meetings with the Jaguars.
