The Miami Dolphins have fired head coach Cam Cameron.

"We just felt in order to move forward and not look back, we needed someone in place who shared the same philosophical compatibilities we shared," new GM Jeff Ireland said. "We didn't really know the guy that well. We were going to try to get someone that does share those things, and we weren't completely sold that he did."

There was speculation Cameron was going to be fired after former GM Randy Mueller was fired on Tuesday, and it looks the rumors were true. New VP of football operations Bill Parcells is looking to clean house after the Dolphins had a abysmal 1-15 season.
