New Miami linebacker Joey Porter had arthroscopic knee surgery on Tuesday, killing his training camp return and putting his preseason in doubt.
"They decided to go in and take a look at it," Dolphins coach Cam Cameron said. "They do say it's something minor."
Porter is expected to miss two weeks, however, the lack of training camp time will likely keep him out of preseason.
Porter has been out of action since Friday because of the injury, which began bothering him during the offseason. He's the former linebacker for the 2005 champions, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and is due to make $20 million on guaranteed money with Miami.
