Week 2 could be another story, but this Sunday Albert Haynesworth will be a tackle and defensive end for the Washington Redskins.
Head coach Mike Shanahan did not deny trade talks Wednesday, a day after multiple sources stated that the Tennessee Titans were negotiating for the disgruntled tackle.
Shanahan would not say whether Haynesworth will play Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. He said such information would give a "competitive advantage" to the opponent.
If the Redskins trade Haynesworth to Tennessee it could boost the Titans' NFL Odds into a playoff contender.
Haynesworth was a monster for the Titans in the 2008 season, putting himself in the MVP conversation by plowing defenders and helping the Titans to a 12-4 record against the spread.
Titans D-line coach Jim Washburn brought the best out of Haynesworth, and the general consensus is that he is the only one who can keep him motivated and maximize his abilities.
Tennessee won the AFC South the last time Haynesworth was on the team, therefore it might be smart to get them at +450 before a trade is made.
