NFL Odds to Win the 2009 Super Bowl: AFC or NFC?

The AFC is still the king. (AP Images)"]
So says the NFL futures market; the AFC is getting -120 odds to win this year’s Super Bowl, with the NFC trailing only slightly at -110. I’m not sold on those odds.
It doesn’t help the NFC’s cause that the Arizona Cardinals are still in the mix. The Cards are Super Bowl XLIII long shots at 20-1, while the shortest odds for the four remaining AFC teams are 15-2 for Baltimore. The Ravens are legitimate title contenders. Arizona? With that defense?
The reigning champion New York Giants (3-1 to defend) are facing the Philadelphia Eagles (6-1) in the Divisional Round, so one of those two outstanding teams is guaranteed to advance. Pencil in the Cards to lose to Carolina (5-1) on Saturday, and when the Super Bowl odds come out again for the Conference round, the NFC is going to look a lot tougher.
