It was lonly two years ago when the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Washington Redskins en route to their first Super Bowl appearance in franchise history.

The Pacific Northwest-based club will be looking to do the same this Saturday at Qwest Field.

The similarities to 2005 are eerie. That year, the Redskins reeled off a late-season charge to reach the playoffs, only to be rewarded with a cross-country trip to Seattle. It was a Washington team that appeared spent by the time it reached the Northwest and didn't put up much of a fight. But this current Redskins team different. They're playing with a lot of energy and emotion from the death of Sean Taylor. The rejuvination of journeyman QB Todd Collins has been a great story as well.

Currently, the Seahawks are listed as three-point home favorites against the Redskins. Washington is +160 on the moneyline and the total is currently set at 39.5 points.
