NFL Preview: Philadelphia Eagles vs. New Orleans Saints

Reggie Bush or no Reggie Bush, that’s the question. Or is it? (AP Images)

The New Orleans Saints are just one game behind the Minnesota Vikings in the NFL’s NFC Wild Card race. The team has won back-to-back games since star running back Reggie Bush went down with knee damage, scratching back to 7-7 after a horrific 0-4 start.

Although it looks mostly like meaningless mind games, the Saints are making noise about bring back Bush this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

"He may or may not play, but they have to prepare as if he's going to play," says current Saints running back Aaron Stecker. "If they don't prepare for it and all of a sudden he shows up and plays, then they're just looking at themselves, saying, 'Why didn't we prepare?'

The Eagles are coming off a huge 10-6 win over the Dallas Cowboys and still have hope in the Wild Card race themselves, despite a 6-8 record. They’re not likely to be fooled by the Bush talk and with running back Brian Westbrook in the lineup, the Eagles are always going to dangerous.

This one is likely to be a hell of a football game. Go with the Saints at -3.5.
