It will be the unbeaten against the winless on Sunday, when the Indianapolis Colts play at St. Louis against the Rams.
It is no surprise that NFL Week 7 odds have the Colts listed as 14-point favorites in this one.
The Colts have won their last 14 regular season games. The Rams have lost 16 straight. Both are the NFL’s longest current streaks.
Indianapolis should be able to welcome back cornerback Kelvin Hayden and offensive tackle Charlie Johnson. Hayden has been sidelined for the past three games. Johnson didn’t play against Tennessee two weeks ago.
The status of cornerback Marlin Jackson and wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez remain unanswered for the time being.
The St. Louis Rams got good news on wide receiver Donnie Avery, who underwent an MRI exam on his hip that revealed a bruise. They can’t afford to lose any more players at a position that’s been thin since training camp.
