It's an NHL Original Six showdown in Boston as the Montreal Canadiens (21-13-8) roll into town to face the Bruins (21-17-4).
Oddsmakers currently have the Canadiens listed as 115-moneyline favorites versus the Bruins, while the game's total is sitting at 5 ½.
On Tuesday, Guillaume Latendresse scored at 3:18 of overtime to give the Canadiens a 4-3 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks.
"I think it was important for us to get the two points and get a goal like that," Latendresse said. "It was a great feeling. We had a lot of chances in the third period so it was fun to bury it at the end."
Saku Koivu, Patrice Brisebois and Andrei Markov had the regulation goals for the Habs while Cristobal Huet made 25 saves in the win.
The Bruins were shut out 1-0 by the Hurricanes last time out. Tim Thomas stopped 27 shots in a losing effort for the Bruins.
"Timmy did his part, we just didn't get that tying goal," Boston's Peter Schaefer said.
Here's a pretty compelling trend: Montreal is 7-0 in its last seven against Boston, and the Habs have already beaten the Bruins four times this season.
The Bruins are 11-7-2 at home while the Canadiens are 13-6-3 away.
