NHL Betting: Sens, Habs Battle for Northeast Divison Lead

Starting tonight, the Ottawa Senators and Montreal Canadiens are going to be seeing a lot of each other.

With just 11 games left in the regular season, the two teams will meet three times down the stretch in what should be a thrilling and hard-fought battle for division and conference supremacy. Just two points separate the teams, and it's the Senators playing the role of chasers as they look to draw even tonight at the Bell Center in Montreal.

The Canadiens have won six of their last eight and look ready to win their first division title in 17 years (the last time they did it was in 1991-92). They've surged ahead of the Senators who - despite a remarkable 15-2 start to the season - have slid since the All-Star break. The losses eventually cost coach John Paddock his job. He was replaced by GM Bryan Murray last month.

If Montreal is to win, they'll have to focus on shutting down Ottawa's "ASH" line - Daniel Alfredsson, Jason Spezza and Dany Heatley. The trio has combined for 12 goals and 33 points against Montreal this season.
