NHL Hockey Betting: Calgary at Detroit Odds

Detroit and Calgary are battling for the eighth and final seed in the Western Conference playoff race, so it should be a heated battle when they meet on Tuesday night.

The Red Wings (31-22-12) are beginning to look like their old selves in NHL hockey betting. Sunday’s 5-4 win in Chicago was the team’s fourth win in five games.

The defense led the way against the Blackhawks. Both Nik Lidstrom and Brian Rafalski scored a goal and an assist, while center Pavel Datsyuk added a goal.

Calgary (32-24-9) has won its last two outings after Sunday’s 5-2 win over Minnesota. Recently acquired goalie Vesa Toskala made 27 saves in the win.

Detroit and Calgary have split two games this season. The Flames won the last game 3-0 as Miikka Kiprusoff had a shutout.
