Detroit is licking its wounds after a collapse against Calgary, but the Wings have a chance for redemption Thursday against the struggling Minnesota Wild.

Detroit (31-23-12) is 3-2-0 in NHL hockey betting so far in March, but the team lost a gut-wrencher to Calgary on Tuesday.

The Red Wings allowed three third-period goals in the 4-2 loss. Tomas Holmstrom scored a goal and added an assist in the losing effort.

Minnesota (31-28-6) is winless in three games, though it picked up points in two of those losses. The Wild lost 3-2 via shootout against Florida earlier this week, wasting a 29-save effort by Niklas Backstrom.

Minny lost a shootout to Detroit in mid-January but rebounded a week later with a 5-2 home victory. Antti Miettinen scored twice for the Wild, while Pavel Datsyuk lit the lamp twice for Detroit.
