NHL Hockey Betting: Ottawa Senators vs. New Jersey Devils

Will Scott Clemmensen and the New Jersey Devils be able to take the heat from the new Ottawa offense? (AP Images)"]

The Ottawa Senators will throw a new look out on the ice tonight when they take on the New Jersey Devils. Ottawa's three top scorers are in a collective slump so head coach Craig Hartsburg is attempting an offensive shake - up for the Sens.

That means new linemates for Daniel Alfredsson, Dany Heatley, and Jason Spezza. There hasn't been much scoring lately for Ottawa with four goals in the last four games and a 1-3-1 record in their past five games.

More scoring will be important since Ottawa is expected to put Alex Auld in goal against the Devils. Auld is 0-3-0 lifetime against New Jersey despite giving up just two goals in each of those starts.

The Devils are having no such issues. With Scott Clemmensen in net, the Devils have won 10 of their last 13 games. New Jersey's offense also has been very good lately, scoring 21 times in the last five games.
