NHL Hockey Odds: Calgary at Colorado

The Calgary Flames are desperately trying to stay in the NHL playoff race, and they’ll face a tough Colorado Avalanche team on Wednesday night.

The Flames and Avalanche have played each other four times this season on NHL hockey odds, with Colorado coming out on top 3-2 all four times. The most recent was a 3-2 shootout in early January.

Craig Anderson was brilliant in goal for the Avs. The netminder turned away 44 shots by the Flames. Paul Stastny picked up a goal and an assist for Colorado.

Rene Bourque and Dustin Boyd each recorded goals for the Flames, while goalie Miikka Kiprusoff wasn’t at his sharpest, stopping 19 of 21 shots.

Both teams have made several changes since then. Colorado traded Wojtek Wolski for Peter Mueller, while the Flames have added Matt Stajan, Fredrik Sjostrom, Nik Hagman and Vesa Toskala.
