NHL Hockey Odds: Vancouver at Chicago

Chicago is in a dogfight with San Jose for the Western Conference lead, while the Canucks are trying to hold onto third place. They meet Friday night.

The Blackhawks returned to take on the NHL hockey odds this week and lost 5-3 to the Islanders on Tuesday despite 44 shots. They bounced back Wednesday with a 5-2 win over Edmonton.

Marian Hossa led the way against the Oilers, notching a goal and an assist in the win.

Vancouver is 2-0 since returning from the break, including a 6-3 win over Detroit on Wednesday. The Sedin twins, Daniel and Henrik, each racked up three assists.

The Canucks are 2-1 against Chicago this season. They blew out the Blackhawks 5-1 in January, as goalie Roberto Luongo made 43 saves. Jonathan Toews scored the lone goal for the Hawks.
