In NHL hockey betting action on Tuesday night the Battle of Ontario will see its first skirmish when the Ottawa Senators and Toronto Maple Leafs hook up.
Only two games into the season and a goaltending controversy is already brewing with the Maple Leafs.
After Vesa Toskala allowed a goal on the first shot he faced Saturday night against the Washington Capitals, en route to his second loss, and Jonas Gustavsson made his NHL debut with 16 saves on 19 shots in the final 40 minutes, coach Ron Wilson will have a tough choice against Ottawa.
Goalie Pascal Leclaire will likely to be back between the pipes for the Senators. He will need more help than he got on Saturday night as the Rangers beat the Sens 5-2.
The defense was viewed as a potential problem area for the Senators entering the season, and only one game was needed to show why.
The home team is 5-1 in the last six meetings.
