NHL betting online has never been easier and one game to check out on Tuesday night is the Tampa Bay Lightning visiting the Carolina Hurricanes.
When Tampa Bay rebuilt its defense over the summer they probably didn't envision seeing that new unit get thrashed by Atlanta for six goals in the season opener.
It won't get any easier Tuesday. Carolina was outscored 9-2 in its first two games, meaning Tampa Bay will face an angry team in Raleigh.
This will be the Hurricanes' first game against a Southeast Division opponent this season.
Among the biggest problems for the Hurricanes is their power play, which went 0-for-13 until center Eric Staal's first goal of the season in the third period on Saturday. Power-play woes were an issue for a good chunk of last season as well.
The Lightning are 0-6 in the last six meetings in Carolina.
