Only one game on the ice tonight as the Montreal Canadiens host the Columbus Blue Jackets.
NHL betting odds have the Canadiens listed as -130 home favorites.
Carey Price has regained the No. 1 job in Montreal, going 4-2-1 with a 1.94 goals-against average in his past seven appearances while starting the last five games. He had another strong performance in Saturday’s 3-2 shootout loss to visiting Detroit, making 32 saves through overtime.
Steve Mason, on the other hand, was pulled for the third time this season Monday night in Columbus’ 7-4 loss to the New York Rangers after allowing four goals on 17 shots.
Monday’s loss was the Blue Jackets’ first in regulation since a 9-1 defeat to Detroit on Nov. 11. Columbus has earned at least a point in nine of its last 11 games.
The Blue Jackets have won consecutive games against the Canadiens, and are 3-1-0 with one tie all-time at Montreal.
