After the first half, you could basically hand the win to the No. 7 Stanford Cardinal. But the No. 2 UCLA Bruins regrouped and forced the game into overtime, and eventually pulled out a gutsy 77-67 victory.
The Cardinal outscored the Bruins 30-18 in the first half, but UCLA came back with a 45-33 second half to force the game into OT. They crushed the Cardinal 14-4 in OT to seal the victory.
Guard Darren Collison led the Bruins with 24 points (which included two game-tying free throws), while center Kevin Love had 17 points and 10 rebounds.
The Bruins clinched their third Pac-10 title with the win.
Despite such a horrible first half, the Bruins were able to cover the 8.5-point spread in the end.
