Denver has been pushing to get back into playoff contention since the All-Star break, and they did it tonight with a 118-105 win over Dallas.

Allen Iverson scored 31 points and Carmelo Anthony put up 32, using their offense to move past a Mavericks team who were missing Dirk Nowitzki.

The Mavericks led 70-60 at halftime, running all over a non-existent Nuggets defense. But in the second half Denver turned up their game, outscoring the Mavs 58-35.

With the win the Nuggets tie Golden State for the eighth seed in the West. However, the Warriors still hold the tie break.

With the 13-point win the Nuggets covered the 8.5-point spread.
