Official Weigh In Results for Hook N Shoot

The mixed martial arts fighters competing in Saturday's "Hook N Shoot" event in Evansville, Indiana stepped onto the scales today, or at least most of them did.

While each of the athletes in the main events made weight, a few of the undercard fighters had some problems cutting weight and showed up late, or not at all.

Bodog Fight women's 135lb champion Tara LaRosa (14-1-0) easily made the cut to 125lbs, as did her feisty opponent; Minnesota's Cody Welchlin, (2-1-0) who weighed a pound less.

Hook N Shoot champion Dan Hornbuckle (13-1-0) was the star of the weigh-ins, preparing himself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich as a reward for making the 172lb limit. His opponent, Courtney Ray, (6-4-0) was too busy cutting weight to see Hornbuckle's antics, but came in later to make 175lbs.

Jeet Kune Do fighter Eben Oroz (4-2-0) and American Top Team lightweight Mike Brown (14-4-0) both weighed 149lbs, and all the competitors in the 8-woman tournament made weight, although Jan Finney (3-5-0) had a particularly hard time making the 135lb cutoff.
