Ohio State Upsets No. 15 Purdue 80-77

Columbus, Ohio was a hotbed of excitement when the Buckeyes, who went into OT and upset No. 15 Purdue 80-77. Ohio's Othello Hunter made two foul shots as well as a huge defensive play down the stretch, ending their four-game losing streak.

In the overtime, the Buckeyes built a three-point lead only to have the Boilermakers pull even by E'Twaun Moore, who had scored 16 points for Purdue. When Purdue's Evan Turner was fouled, Hunter hit both shots to win the game.

The loss for Purdue's Boilermakers, who had won 13 of their last 14 games, will drop them a half-game behind 10th-ranked Wisconsin.

No. 1 UNC Beats Florida State 90-77

Meanwhile, top dog No. 1 University North Carolina lived up to their rep, beating Florida State 90-77. Tyler Hansbrough scored 20 points, while Ty Lawson, who was playing at home for the first time in a month, earned another 10.
