Olympic Schedule, Results & Medal Events: Spotlight on Ice Hockey

The United States hit the trifecta on Wednesday at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Lindsey Vonn (women's downhill), Shani Davis (men's 1000m speed skating) and Shaun White (men's halfpipe) all won gold medals to put Team USA back in first place on the medals table.

United States: 5G, 3S, 6B

Germany: 3G, 4S, 3B

France: 2G, 1S, 4B

Canada: 2G, 3S, 1B

Wednesday's schedule wrapped up late with the Czech Republic (-1.5, +110) earning a 3-1 victory over Slovakia in men's hockey. Czechoslovakia was a hockey dynamo during the Soviet era, but now that the two nations have been split for 17 years the Czechs are only 15-1 to win gold with Slovakia a 50-1 longshot. The favored Canadians (even money) are back on the ice Thursday night against Switzerland (7:30 p.m. ET).
