With the also-rans now bounced from the competition, college basketball junkies on the left coast can dig in and watch two great Pac-10 games this evening.
USC (+8.5, +325) - UCLA (-8.5, -450): In the first semifinal, the upstart USC Trojans will take on the No. 2 team in the country, the UCLA Bruins. The last time these two teams met, it was the Trojans who scored an upset 72-63 victory on the strength of freshman Davon Jefferson's 25 points and nine rebounds. The Trojans have been playing solid basketball as of late, riding a three game winning streak that included a gusty quarterfinal win over Arizona State earlier this week.
The Bruins are rolling as well, having won eight straight. The most recent was a 88-66 rout of Cal in the quaters. Junior guard Darren Collison had 19 points in the win over Cal, 15 of which came on the game-high five three pointers he nailed.

Wazzu (+2) - Stanford (-2): The Cougars have never been to a Pac-10 tournament game, and they'll need an inspired performace against the Cardinal to get there. Washington State has yet to beat Stanford this season, as the Cardinal escaped with 67-65 and 60-53 wins in both regular-season conference games this year.
Wazzu got to the semis on the strength of 18 points from Derrick Low and 17 from Kyle Weaver.
The Cardinal surged past Arizona 75-64 to reach the Pac-10 final four. Once again it was the Brook Lopez show, as the team's leading scorer (18.9 points per game) went for 20 points and 15 rebounds against the Wildcats.
