Patrick Roy's Son Is L'enfant Terrible
It's been making the rounds on the ol' interweb lately and has become a YouTube staple, so we thought we'd share it with you.
Jonathan Roy - son of legendary Montreal Canadiens and Colorado Avalanche goaltender Patrick Roy - went berzerk last weekend during a Quebec Major Junior Hockey League game.
After losing his mind in the above clip, the younger Roy was suspended seven games and fined $500 for his attack on opposing netminder Bobby Nadeau. We at the Beat think the punishment might've been a little soft, considering poor Nadeau had zero inclination to fight...until he received about eight shots to the head and was spiked to the ice. At that point, he should've realized he was in the midst of a throw-down.
Does Roy have a chance to be like his old man? Will he be a NHLer one day? Get a head start on your predictions and do some NHL Hockey Betting!
