Patriots Donate \"19-0 Season\" Merchandise to Children in Nicaragua

Although the Patriots goal of a perfect season didn't have the ending they wanted, it's still had a happy ending.

Improverished children from southern Nicaragua have received 290 Patriots hats and an equal number of team jerseys with the slogans "Super Bowl Champions, 19-0"

"They lost, but the children won," Miriam Diaz said, spokeswoman for the humanitarian organization World Vision.. "They were very happy to receive the hats and jerseys."

"They said they did not expect such a surprise."

For those who've been hibernating until spring, the Patriots when 18-0 on their season before losing 17-14 to the Giants in Super Bowl XLII.
