Pau Gasol Debuts with Lakers in 105-90 Win Over Nets

The Lakers pulled off a victory against the New Jersey Nets with a 105-90 win, leaving skeptics of the surprising Pau Gasol trade eating their words, as Gasol scored 24 points and 12 rebounds. The Lakers acquired the lanky, 7-foot Spanish all-star in a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies last week.

Boston at Cleveland:

Cleveland earned at tight win -- with a 114-113 victory over the Boston Celtics. LeBron James scored 33 points, nine rebounds and out 12 assists for the Cavaliers. Zydrunas Ilgauskas, who scored 21 points and 10 boards and Larry Hughes, who earned 18 points and six assists, also aided the win.
