Mike Richards sealed the deal for the Philadelphia Flyers 2:16 into OT, earning a comeback goal over the New York Rangers. With Rangers' defenseman Marek Malik close behind, Richards quickly shot a goal past Henrik Lundqvist for the win. This was the first game for the Rangers without their top scorer Scott Gomez, who injured his ribs early in Friday's shootout loss at Philadelphia.
The Rangers led 1-0 most of the game -- however Philadelphia's Danny Briere tied the game 7:32 into the third and also earned his 30th goal.
This victory gives the Flyers their fourth straight win, moving them within one point of the Rangers in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Get all your NHL betting in the Bodog Sportsbook.
