Game 7 in Hockeytown on Friday night went to the team that wanted it most: Pittsburgh Penguins 2, Detroit Red Wings 1. Who knew? Who the hell knew that the Detroit Red Wings could unravel like that...? Marian Hossa? Tomas Holmstrom? Pavel Datsyuk? Where were these guys? And who knew that the Pittsburgh Penguins had the kind of passion and grit that it takes to bring a team like the Detroit Red Wings to their knees in Game 7 in their home rink.

"It took as awhile to get it," said Penguins captain Sidney Crosby. "But we got it."

Now that hockey has finally wrapped up its season, we can all focus our attention on basketball. Game 5 between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Orlando Magic goes Sunday. With the Lakers ahead by 3-1, we could be celebrating another major victory by the end of the weekend.
