Former 3-division champion Felix "Tito" Trinidad (44-2, 35 KO's) and former 4-division champion Roy Jones Jr. (51-4, 38 KO's) have both made weight for their much-anticipated boxing match on Saturday, Jan. 19.

Jones came half of a pound under the agreed 170-pound catch weight, at 169 1/2 pounds. Trinidad weighed slightly over the limit, weighing 170.2 pounds, but Jones agreed to let the 2/10 of a pound slide.

As much hype as the fight is getting, fans agree that it's a match that should have happened when Trinidad was the middleweight champion, and Jones was next in line. Now, 7-years later, both champions are shadows of their former selves, with Trinidad coming out of retirement. Jones, however, claims that he's recaptured his once legendary quickness and promises to show it in the ring.

While boxing experts debate the relevance of the match, a win for either fighter would put them back in contention for big-league matches, and both Trindad and Jones have mentioned Joe Calzaghe (44-0, 32 KO's) as a fighter who is high on their list of prospective opponents.

Jones is currently the -335 favorite to win according to the boxing odds in the Bodog Sportsbook.
