Super Bowl Odds: Giants Believe Ahmad Bradshaw Can Make a Difference

The name Bradshaw has a storied Super Bowl history, thanks to Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Fame quarterback (and now Fox TV loudmouth) Terry Bradshaw.
The Giants hope the name has some magic to it. Although he’s not related to Terry (hey, it’s the 21st Century, you never know), running back Ahmad Bradshaw is an intriguing player. As Super Bowl Sunday approaches and every detail gets dissected for the hundredth time, Bradshaw stands out because he’s unknown.
On one hand, he’s inexperienced and small. On the other, he’s got fresh legs and the ability to bust long runs once he finds some space.
The Patriots had trouble with San Diego’s super-fast Darren Sproles during the AFC Championship Game and Bradshaw is a player in that mold.
"He's real quick and runs hard and low to the ground. I get in there, and I'm a one-cut guy. Teams have to make that change. I go in and pound them and pound them, then he goes in with a lot of quickness," said New York’s starting RB Brandon Jacobs.
The duo will be counted on to move the chains and keep the ball out of the hands of Tom Brady and the Patriots’ explosive offense. If they’re successful, the Giants may not only cover the point spread (they’re 11.5-point underdogs), they may shock the world and pull off the biggest upset in NFL history.
